A new year means new policies for the Eau Claire Transit Program. The city of Eau Claire is now offering free fare for UWEC students and children under 18. Located just a couple of blocks away from Andante, the transit center provides residents with easily-accessible transportation between downtown, the University of Eau Claire campus, and retail areas.

To use the city transit free of charge, UWEC students must show their student ID, high school age students must show their high school ID, and preschool-aged children must be accompanied by an adult. The city offers a live bus tracker on its website to help riders time their route.
